Winter Camp

For many countries, winter is their summer break! So we are happy to provide you with a winter camp experience in our Praxis International Institute facility and location.

In 2011 we hosted a wonderful group from Japan who came for one week, were homestayed with several familes in our community, participated in 2 days of school with the community school children, were hosted by one of our First Nation communities near by for a Feast and Powwow, and travelled to Wanuskewin for a sleep over in traditional First Nation TeePees.

The children thorough enjoyed themselves and on the last night they shared their stories in front of a big roaring fire in our Institute. The time passed much too quickly!

They made lifelong friends and want to return next year!

We designed this camp based upon their school year and their needs - we can do the same for your school.

There is much to do here in the winter including skidooing, snowshoeing, winter outdoor wiener roasts followed by S'Mores, and the opportunity to both home stay and stay in our facility.

We can set up anywhere from 1 week to several weeks and our students would be happy to become friends and learn with them.

Please contact us if you have an interest in a winter camp!
