Applying to Praxis

Praxis High School Program Students can apply year round to Praxis. We are currently accepting applications for semester 2 which starts in February 2011 and for the 2012 fall semester. We are also accepting applications for our summer camp which begins in July 2012. It is easy to apply! Simply download, print and complete the application form for high school or summer camp or complete the online form Return by mail, fax or email with the application fee We will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your application so you know it has been received. We will then process the application according to the steps below. If you are accepted, you will receive a letter of acceptance and be required to provide your non refundable deposit in order to confirm enrolment.

Download the appropriate application form for high school or summer camp , print, complete and submit with the non-refundable application fee.

Next Step

You will receive confirmation by phone or email after we receive your application and application fee. An initial review will be conducted and any missing information requested. When all documentation is received, a final review will be completed.

Project and Interview

International students applying to Praxis do not take a formal English entrance exam to determine their English level. Instead, they are asked to complete a project of their choice, and/or opt for an interview. The project or interview, in addition to the transcripts from the applicant’s school, will be used to determine English proficiency.

The Student Application Project: Students may choose any topic of interest and prepare a short presentation using a medium of your choice. This could be in the form of a video, audio, print (essay or story or other) – hand written or electronically generated, artwork, multimedia or whatever medium you desire to provide us with your vision or ideas. The project should be about a topic that may have global implications (example: Global Warming, Pollution, Global Peace, One World Government, etc.), or something that you feel personally passionate about.
